Truth

Once the Infinite Tsukuyomi had ran its course, Sasuke dispels his Susanoo as Madara returns to Earth. Madara chastises Team 7, intending to kill them all before they can destroy the peace he provided for everyone else. But before Madara can do anything, he is suddenly stabbed through the heart by Black Zetsu. Exclaiming in shock as the parasite fuses onto him, Madara begins to swell and huge amounts of chakra are drawn to his location with Naruto and Sasuke prevented from interfering as Black Zetsu reveals that he is actually the personified will of Kaguya Otsutsuki. Madara asks why the tablet said the Infinite Tsukiyomi would bring peace, only for Black Zetsu to explain that he revised the tablet to find a pawn who would help him revive his creator and provide her with an army of White Zetsu from the people trapped in the genjutsu. Madara dwells on this fatal error as he is consumed with a fully restored Kaguya standing in his place.
