Mystery at Shark Lake

This is the first in a series of animated feature-length stories about Tintin. Someone is stealing priceless works of art from museums and replacing them with excellent forgeries. Meanwhile, Tintin, Snowy, Captain Haddock and Thompson and Thomson board a flight to Syldavia on a holiday to meet up with their friend, Professor Calculus. On the beautiful Lake Flaychyzaff in the Syldavian countryside, Professor Calculus is experimenting with a new way to create perfect 3 dimensional copies in a laboratory donated by a mysteriously anonymous patron. The holiday is short lived when Tintin is confronted by the evil Rastapopulous, who uses the lake as headquarters for a world-wide art theft operation. With the help of Nikp and Nouchka, two young Syldavian children, Tintin solves the mystery of the stolen art? but will he succeed in capturing Rastapopulous? And will Calculus ever finish his experiments?
