Her king, who is her brother also, has told princess Felise that she is to bond with Jarek Severn, Master of the Order of Shadow. What really sets this firebrand off is when Dori suggests to King Sef, of imposing Ishaunti Tiri, a form of confinement for the intended couple to be in seclusion for three days letting them get to know each other, so to speak. Without Felise knowing it, Jarek, has been impersonating Tork, a shape-shifting sorcerer. Jarek has already gotten up-close and personal with her. Then to top it off, Felise younger sister Adara, has been kidnapped.
