Damara is about to begin a new phase in her life by retiring at 41 due to a friend’s relentlessness. She goes to a Beltane celebration that evening. Even though she is sad that no one remembers her birthday is today. During the celebration, the host warns everyone that on Beltane you must look forward to the future. Never back to the past. Unfortunately, this is just what Damara does and is transferred into Damia, Goddess of Flora.
Shoner is a man cruising through life and looking for something to do when his plans for the weekend are cancelled. Remembering an invitation for a friend’s Beltane party. He decides to attend, mainly to go anywhere on his birthday. While talking to a beautiful and interesting woman he becomes Shonet, a sea deity, and in conflict with the newly created Damia.
The couple who began the night quietly celebrating Beltane just to avoid being alone are now a newly transformed couple. They balk at the “Old Ones” who are forcing them to unite.
