In Kirkpatrick's Woods
Rating
*This was written to be a lengthy novella. (Much longer than a story- but not as long as a novel.)Travel with Victoria to the Vermont woods, where she meets an enigmatic carpenter named Kirkpatrick. He lives in a log cabin, turns wood into works of art, and is the sexiest male Victoria's ever seen. She wants the beautiful carpenter to make love to her so she can get him out of her system. Kirkpatrick is only too happy to oblige. Soon she realizes that the sexy woodsman has a unique perspective on life- but is he what he seems? />PRAISE FOR IN KIRKPATRICK'S WOODS:"Dara Joy is one of those rare writers who sets her bar incredibly high with each passing story and always manages to surpass that bar by delivering entertaining, delightful, helluva good tales. She is probably one of the best, if not the best, storytellers out there today and she can hook you into her stories faster than you can turn the first page. . . In Kirkpatrick's Woods reads like a beautifully written love letter to her fans. You will treasure it forever. I know I will." - Cecily B."I was amazed at how well-written it is. Beautifully written, in fact, and all shades of unconventional." - Technoelfie"Kirkpatrick has become one of my favorite hero's. He's pretty much EVERYTHING you want in a man." - Michelle"I believe that you were very aptly named- for "Joy" is what a writer can bring to those in despair. . . Your books not only whisk me away to far away places, but inspire me to be my own heroine in the story of my life. Thank you!" - Racie"I have to say that your books are loved and enjoyed by all age groups. Every woman wants a Kirkpatrick in their lives. I can just imagine myself in your books. Just being there in that place. I hate it when the book is over. I just want it to continue. I can lose myself in your books." - Shelly F."I finished Kirkpatrick's Woods last night. It took me a day to find the right words. What a beautiful poetic story." - Pam
