The Wages Of Justice

In the Fifth Millennium, a young tourist visiting the small planet of Nublis is about to be tried for murder by its mysterious chief judge or archon. Always masked, the Nublian archon is blindfolded whenever he presides over the court and, except for the evidence presented, he knows nothing about the circumstances of any case before him. The accused is unconcerned because he knows his powerful father Augustus Veniston, who is the Interplanetary Synod's Chief Justice, is on his way to rescue him.
