When Sloan Carver left home, he never intended to go back. Although he carries with him memories of a childhood rife with love and privilege, he tried to leave behind the pain of his parents' ultimate betrayal. But Sloan left more than secrets behind in Bay's Haven. He also left behind some wounded and very bewildered friends.
With her mother lying on her deathbed, Sabrina Hampstead decides it's time for Sloan to come home and repay some debts. She concocts a scheme that will lure him home and hopefully bring some joy to her mother's final days. But Sloan's return sets in motion a series of events that Bree did not anticipate.
