Lust Upon Roses

Through a spell cast by a wizard Edmund Wulfhere was granted immortality Being an immortal for hundreds of years Edmund was at an impasse when he comes to the aid of Grace while she is being accosted buy a drunk. In helping her he becomes smitten with her and wants her like he never wanted another lady. In the hopes of satiating his lust his calls upon the wizard that made him immortal and tells him to make her wholly lustful for him. By giving her six roses he is guaranteed six days and nights of sex with her. In his impatience Edmund fails to listen that for every day with her under the spell the deeper he falls in love with her. At the conclusion of the six days Grace's lust is lifted and she is able to leave Edmund - yet Edmund is wholly and completely in love with her. How can he live out his immortality with his heart dedicated to one lady who can easily walk out of his life after the passion they shared and swear she could never love again?
