Spider's Web

Clarissa, wife of a Foreign Office diplomat, daydreams about finding a dead body in her drawing-roomand then it becomes reality. Desperate to dispose of the body before her husband comes home with an important politician, Clarissa persuades her three house guests to become accomplices. As the search begins for the murderer in their midst, the house party is interrupted by the arrival of a police inspector, who needs convincing that no murder has happened. This adaptation by Charles Osborne from Christie's stage play has received rave advance reviews.
