Charmed Again (Part 1)

Piper and Phoebe grieve over the death of Prue and with the Power of Three now severed, the two of them are vulnerable. Piper tries spells to bring Prue back, but with no avail. When she tries to summon Prue's ghost, Grams arrives instead and tells Piper that their destiny still awaits. When Phoebe gets a premonition of a young woman being attacked by Shax, she goes out to save her, much to Piper's displeasure for fear of Phoebe getting killed also. Phoebe is stunned when she sees the woman she saw orb when Shax attempts to attack her. While trying to figure out who she is and why she can orb, Cole informs everyone that the Source thinks she can reconstitute the Charmed Ones. To get answers, Piper summons Grams back and this time, Patty arrives also. Patty reveals that during her relationship with Sam, she had gotten pregnant and that the woman Phoebe saw in her premonition is in fact their half sister. Piper, Phoebe, and Leo set out to find her, but are shocked when they see her standing in the hallway. She introduces herself as Paige Matthews. When Piper shakes her hand, a glowing light is cast down onto the three of them, thus bringing the new Power of Three to life. When Shax attacks again, the sisters finally vanquish him. Paige is horrified and runs off, scared by what she has become.
