The Reluctant Witch

Meredith Albright Rand simply wants to live like any mortal--to make her Magic Emporium & Costume Shop a success, to enjoy her friends, and maybe to fall in love. But for Merry, who was born a witch, that takes a special kind of discipline--especially after Dr. Bryan Aldwyn visits her shop one day.

The handsome but klutzy pediatric oncologist needs help putting together a magic show at the hospital. With love in the wings and a crowd of sick kids waiting for a magical show, Merry's resolve to live like a mortal falters. Should she save the show with her magic and risk losing the man she loves?

As Merry and Bryan's love intensifies, so does her guilty conscience. When she turns to her family for help, she runs into more trouble. Smart and powerful Aunt Nora thinks Merry should sharpen her witch skills and have some fun. Her father wants her to succeed him as Grand Wizard of the Domain. Their antics throw Merry for a loop trying to keep her little secret.

And then there's the question of Harry, the cat who mysteriously enters Merry's life and--interestingly--disappears whenever Bryan comes to call.

Merry and Bryan must overcome many many obstacles before discovering that the greatest magic of all is love.
