Hunger Moon Rising

Ben is a vegetarian and werewolf. He hasn't shifted in years and controls it by avoiding team sports and doing power yoga. It is a bit like living with epilepsy.

Danielle is a reporter and Ben's writing partner of five years and his best friend. Ben has loved Danielle from the very beginning with every fiber of his being. But after five years he knows she is never going to return that love.

One day a desperate father bursts into the newsroom and claims that his daughter was kidnapped by a werewolf. Danielle begins an investigation on her own without having a clue of the real danger she's in. Ben fears for Danielle's life and his own secret, but things get more complicated when the Hunger Moon rises, an event that only happens once every eighteen years. Ben ends up having to rescue Danielle and he gives her a taste of the passion he feels for her. When she learns Ben's secret she is not as much appalled about the truth as she is angry at him for lying to her.
