Gemma Prentice was a wonderful nurse-- in fact, a real "gem of a girl." It was this quality that prompted Professor Ross Dieperink van Berhuys to ask her to go to Holland to look after his invalid sister.
There was something of a bonus there too, in the person of the attractive Leo de Vos....
