Blue Haze

Set in and around the Australian penal colony of Botany Bay in the early 1800s, Blue Haze is a story of pride, love, courage and adversity. Isabella O'Shea loathes men, the English, and the system that sentenced her to seven years transportation to New South Wales for wounding the aristocrat who raped her. Tiger Carstairs is rich, English, and ambitious. Separated by pride and the past, Isabella and Tiger face hardship and tragedy in their quest for a new life in a new land. Tricia McGill was born and raised in North London, just too far from the sound of Bow Bells to be classed a 'real' Cockney. On moving to Australia she settled outside Melbourne, where she still lives.
